Fully immersive live habitat built around pre-war Australian mining site. Visitors of all ages have a chance to purchase a bag of authentic mixed minerals and sand for a chance to discover some precious surprises in a fully functional box sluice.
Within the enclosure, different species endemic to Australia are housed with accommodations made for tours as well as animal safety and security. A portion of the proceeds will go to in-situ conservation. This is a unique opportunity for the public to be involved in the preservation of these ambassadors.
All aspects of the habitat are built with semi-permanence in mind, with minimal upkeep needed. Consistent theming aspects ranging from time period appropriate tools to Aboriginal inspired boomerangs.
Our first Adventure Pod transports your visitors to a geology camp in the Australian Outback. Here, they’ll mine for rocks and gems of all sorts in a rushing water channel, then work to identify their finds on a geologist’s chart.
We deliver all of this to you as a complete, self-contained Adventure Pod, made to be easily transported and set up as a temporary feature with all the benefits of a permanent habitat. Thus, you can run it to the standards of your organization and community, with full operational control in the hands of your staff so you can control the experience.
Firefly Adventure pods aren’t just a draw – they also give you an additional revenue stream. Beyond offering packs of rocks and gems, they’re also an opportunity to thoughtfully merchandise: kangaroo plush toys, Australian and geology themed field guides, books, toys and games – anything that builds on the story and experience.
